				<div class="et_pb_tab_content"><p style="font-weight: 400;"><span>Blaabjerg Biogas is one of the oldest biogas facilities in Denmark, and was inaugurated in 1996. The company is a cooperative with limited liability, and is owned by 35 members of which most are local farmers. The facility is led by a board, chosen by the members. The facility has been modernized and expanded in 2009, 2011, 2014 and again in 2020, such that today is both economically sustainable and state-of-the art.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span>The facility utilizes livestock manures as the main feedstock for biogas production, which with the last modernization now is sent both to two different local CHP users as well as upgraded and injected to grid.<br /></span><span></span><span></span></p>

				<div class="et_pb_tab_content"><p style="font-weight: 400;"><span>Denmark’s first and largest organic biogas plant with gas for the natural gas grid, and as such not only producing the most sustainable biogas possible, but also and valuable fertilizers for the organic vegetable fields for one of Denmark’s largest organic producers whose products are found in almost every major grocery store in the country.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span>With a push of a button in Feb. 2017, the then Minister of Energy, Supply and Climate, Lars Kristian Lilleholt, opened the production of the country’s first organic biogas.</span></p></div>
